In the spring of 2012 our friends, Jesse and Monica, began posting pictures on facebook of shakes they were whipping up. They looked outrageously good! Especially the oreo and orange creamsicle shake (our favorite)! Ashley finally had to ask them what was up. They invited us to a party which explained the 90 day challenge. We tested the shakes, and we were both surprised by the flavor. No chalky taste, no weird after taste - it was actually pretty delicious. Then we watched a brief video on the marketing. That's where they lost Ashley. While the shakes tastes great, and Jesse & Monica looked fit as ever, Ashley was not interested in signing up for anything. As she is looking for the exit to avoid any marketing pressures, Jesse and Monica are taken up to the front of the room to talk about their success with ViSalus......they were congratulated with a brand new BMW. Um....what!? They earned a BMW....in their first month? Okay, now they had Ashley's attention.

We sat on the idea for a couple of weeks. Travis was eager to start the challenge, but Ashley was skeptical. After doing some research and seeing the results our friends had, we decided that we couldn't afford not to. We eat pretty healthy (although, there is always room for improvement), we take our vitamins, and we hit the gym 4-5 days a week, but we're not seeing the results we would like. We needed something more.....that's where ViSalus comes in!

The 90 day challenge is a plan for anyone who wants to lose weight, build muscle, get fit, stop smoking, the list goes on. The Vi-Shake smells and tastes like cake mix! Combine it with milk, almond milk, soy milk, rice milk, or diet green tea. You can add ice, fruit, spinach, oatmeal, yogurt...the possibilities are endless! The best part is that there are only 90 calories in 2 scoops of the shake mix, and they are jam packed full of nutrition! The program is based on nutrition that helps you burn fat and keep lean muscle, boosts your metabolism, and helps control hunger.

Okay, that all sounds great but does it actually work??
